Day 1 Arusha – Machame Gate– Machame Camp
This is the first day of the safari to hike Kilimanjaro Mountain through Machame route where after breakfast you will depart from the hotel going direct to Kilimanjaro (machame). It takes 2 hours drive from Arusha to Machame gate. After completing registration at machame gate your journey will officially begin, where In this day you will have 6 to 7 hours hiking (including the lunch) from machame gate (1,790 m) to Machame camp (3,010 m) after arriving to the campsite you will have dinner and overnight
Day 2 Machame Camp – New Shira Camp
Today early in the morning you will proceed with 6 days hiking safari where you will depart Machame Camp (3,010 m) after breakfast going direct to New Shira Camp (3,845 m). Today’s hiking distance will be shorter, and it takes only 4 to 5 hours up to New Shira Camp. The camp has a breath-taking view of the mountain and during sunset, the evening sun lights the rock face and glacier of Kibo.

Day 3 New Shira Camp – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp
In this third day early in the morning after breakfast you will start 5 to 6 hours hiking up to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower (4,640 m). Where you will take a short break for lunch near the lover tower. After breakfast you will proceed directly to the most spectacular campsite of Machame route, with great views of Kibo, the Western Breach and the first of the southern glaciers, Barranco Camp (3,960 m)

Day 4 Barranco Camp – Barafu Camp
Today’s stretch starts with the hike of the Barranco Wall. Safety is paramount and your guides will assist you wherever necessary. Following the ridge as it traverses up and down, you can enjoy the splendid views of the south glacier of Kibo. In the Karanga Valley you will have lunch, followed by a 2 to 3 hours climb to Barafu Camp (4,640 m). Once at the camp, you can relax followed by

Day 5. Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak– Mweka Camp
After a cup of hot tea and a light snack, the climb begins at around midnight, where it takes 5 to 7 hours up to the Uhuru peak. You will hike the screes of Kibo and you will arrive at Stella Point (5,730 m) which is the crater rim of Mt Kilimanjaro. After 2 hours climb along the crater ridge will lead you to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). You are now standing on the “Roof of Africa” and you will see Kilimanjaro in all its glory.
After enjoying at the Summit of the Mount Kilimanjaro you will descend to Barafu Camp where you will have hot lunch prepared by chiefs. After 2 hours break, you will be on your way down to Mweka Camp. (3,080 m)

Day 6. Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate– Arusha
The final leg of your amazing adventure begins after breakfast with a traditional farewell ceremony from the mountain crew. It will take 2 to 3 hours from Mweka Camp (3,080 m) to Mweka Gate (1,630 m). After reaching the mweka gate your next drive safari to Arusha will begin
