Hadzabe Cultural Day Trip tour offers you a unique opportunity to visit the traditional homeland of the Hadzabe peoples, one of the last surviving hunter-gatherer tribes in the world, and to meet their neighbors, the Datoga peoples. Lake Eyasi is commonly known as a home of Hadzabe tribe (also known as the Watindiga or Wahadzabe in Swahili), who lives in the bush around the northern parts of the lake. It is a tribe of hunters and collectors, which formerly inhabited the Serengeti, but was forced away by stronger and more aggressive tribes.

Еаrly in the morning you will wake up аnd dераrt from Аrushа аrоund 4:00 АМ tо rеасh Lаkе Еyаsi nеаr Ngorongoro Сrаtеr аrоund 11:00 АМ. It is a shallow seasonal lake that fills with water after rains and subsequently playing host to a myriad of bird species and providing water for the Hadzabe Bushmen tribe. The Hadza are the last functioning hunter-gatherers in Africa. Their language is similar to the Southern Africa’s Bushmen who speak the click language and their language is believed to still have the clicks and pops like no other “click language” up to the now. With their strong bows whose string is made out of giraffe tendons they are able to bring down small animals like dik diks, baboons, monkeys, large and small birds, to large game animals like zebras, giraffes, and buffaloes. The arrows are treated with a poison extracted from a tree well known to them.

Well Gifted can organise everything, from Kili hike to safari and even a wedding on Zanzibar! The wedding day was organised very well. Flower arrangement was spot on, ceremony was beautiful and dinner was yummy (freshly grilled seafood). We had such an amazing day! Unforgettable memories…Jolanta Bober London, UK67
An amazing family trip, unique and special and mainly thanks to gift 'the hunter' who accompanied us during the whole journey, explained, taught and shared his life with us. If we go back to Tanzania, it's only with 'gift' as a guide.Reut H London, UK67
The entire experience was amazing and all because of the instructor we got, Gift. Has an enormous knowledge about the nature, wild animals and the entire environment.
