Getting to Serengeti

The fee for children between the ages of 5 and 15 is $23.60 and children below the age of 5 aren’t charged any fees. Do note that these fees don’t include the 18% VAT.

If you want an even quicker and more convenient option then hiring a private charter plane is the way to go.

If you want to take the road less travelled and admire the views of Tanzania along the way, then opting for Tanzania Safari Holidays and embarking on a drive-in safari to Serengeti National Park is your most suitable option. Moreover, self-drive safaris though possible are not advisable. This is because an enormous amount of care and planning is needed to drive by yourself through the park’s savannah landscapes.
